Description
Termicland® N7 incorporates a layer of pure aluminum and another of closed-cell polyethylene foam. It is specially designed for the interior of isothermal boxes used in the transport of goods sensitive to temperature variations. Thanks to its low thickness and high thermal resistance, the transport space is used to the maximum.
With this packaging it is possible to keep the temperature controlled in shipments of up to 24 hours, either with the same box or with the use of cold storage or other refrigerating elements.
By incorporating pure aluminum instead of metallic plastic film, effective insulation is achieved, not only aesthetically. The metallic film may seem insulating at first glance, but the nature of the material makes it unfeasible.
With Termicland® N7 a high quality thermal insulation is achieved that acts by reflection (95% reflectivity).
Minimal thickness. Maximum thermal resistance.
The installation of this thin insulation (5mm) is equivalent to installing a traditional thick insulation (EPS, PUR, MW, with thicknesses of 50mm). Both offer the same thermal resistance, but with Termicland® N7 the square meters of usable construction area are fully utilized.
Likewise, Termicland Nº7 can be installed together with any traditional thick insulation (porex, rock or glass wool, cork, polyurethane, cellulose…) to further increase thermal resistance. But even without this traditional insulation, installing several layers of Termicland Nº7 will also multiply the coefficient of thermal resistance with the minimum thickness.
In addition, this compound offers good insulating properties beyond temperature control. It also insulates acoustically, achieving a reduction in impact noise (29 dB), it is resistant to humidity, has low thermal conductivity and excellent behavior against fire.
Product layers
Termicland® N7 is composed of 2 layers: Pure Aluminum and Foam.

Applications

Horizontal Applications
1. Under parquet and underfloor heating
Vertical Applications
2. Walls
3. Party walls
Other applications
- Thermal insulation of packaging for cold chain
- Pallet covers
- Inner lining of cardboard boxes
- Inner lining of containers
Add-ons for installation
- Termicland® Strip: by applying this weather stripping to all kinds of ducts, an air chamber is created between them and Termicland® N7, which will significantly increase their thermal resistance.
- Aluminium Tape: the perfect bond for thermal and acoustic insulations.
- Metallized Film Tape: thermal bridges are avoided ensuring good insulation in the joints.
- Double sided adhesive tape: facilitates the union of reflective insulators and its fixing on all types of surfaces.
- Foamland Cutter®: custom designed to safely cut reflective insulation and packaging.
Delivery format
The delivery format is in a rolled coil protected with a 100% recyclable polyethylene bag.
Reasons to choose Termicland® N7
- Protects from outside heat in summer and keeps inside heat in winter
- Very easy installation
- Thin and light material, low thickness
- Waterproof and moisture resistant
- Fire retardant and highly resistant to chemical agents
- At the same time, this material also helps to acoustically insulate a space. However, to achieve good acoustic insulation, we recommend our line of products designed specifically for this purpose.
