The kiss cut system places the pieces on a continuous siliconed film or paper backing.
Description
Roll-fed die-cutting, also known as kiss cut or rotary die cutting, is a manufacturing process that utilizes a continuous roll of material to produce precise die-cut pieces.
The pieces are rolled up and delivered in a roll form that can be cut into parts. They remain on the removable paper or film layer, making them easy to transport and organize.
They are easily peeled off for quick and accurate application.
This manufacturing process requires extreme precision so that the pieces are well cut out in the foam but with the paper or film backing intact, without cuts or cracks.
Due to its high-speed productivity, rotary die cutting is often used to manufacture large quantities of foam pieces.

Properties
Custom foam manufacturing with rotary die cutting is another extremely precise manufacturing technique that is highly recommended for use with thin foam materials.
Rotary die-cut foam parts improve productivity and assembly times while also reducing production costs. Part removal is quick and easy, allowing workers to easily remove them. This reduces the downtime that assemblers waste separating parts that are stuck together and removing the paper or film protector.
The paper or film protector protects the die-cut foam from deformation or damage during transportation.
In addition, these die-cut foam parts are a peel-and-stick product equipped with pressure-sensitive adhesives.
We customize these kiss-cut foam parts to fit each unique application that requires a specific size and shape. We also work with a wide variety of foams, including: polyurethanes, polyethylenes, and rubbers.
At Foamland, we know that one size does not fit all solutions, so we have foams in a wide variety of thicknesses and strengths for most applications.
Our team of engineers has experience in creating foam parts for an endless list of projects. We will help you make the best decision.
If needed, we also deliver individual die cutting.
