The closed-cell expanded polyethylene cord is ideal for filling and sealing the bottom of expansion joints.
Description
Manufactured with closed-cell expanded polyethylene, it is specially designed to act as a depth limiter in sealing expansion joints, whether longitudinal or transversal.
To apply it, you just have to follow 3 steps:
- Press the cord into the joint
- Push with an object without sharp edges
- Apply sealing putty
Delivery format: reels/rolls or strips in cartboard boxes.
Color: anthracite gray or white.

The delivery format of the expansion joints in strips is in cardboard boxes of 2,045 x 410 x 618 mm.
Sustainability
This product contains 30% recycled material.
It is 100% recyclable (Group 4) and can be converted back into expanded polyethylene. It can also be made into bubble wrap, containers, furniture, shipping envelopes, compost bins, or many other products.
Everyone is responsibile to recycle waste correctly. Especially those that can have an infinite life cycle, as is expanded polyethylene.
